Kelpful will be offering a Seaweed Foraging Class. Visit SLO County's intertidal zone, where you will learn how to identify and sustainably harvest a variety of seaweed. If you’re lucky, you may even find some very unique species that have flavor profiles similar to truffles and shallots. Owner Anita Sahi of Copia Vineyards Downtown Paso Tasting Lounge will be hosting a pairing seminar with Danika Gordon of Vivant Fine Cheese. Learn how to masterfully pair artisan cheeses with fine wine during this one-hour seminar. You will be guided through a tasting of five Copia wines and five artisanal cheese pairings. They will discuss what makes each pairing so special, and some good guidelines when it comes to crafting the most delicious, exciting and - at times - unexpected combinations!
