GRAB A DRINK

(ATASCADERO) Chef and owner Monika Knapp’s culinary philosophy revolves around one word: fermentation. Constantly collaborating with Mother Nature results in unique products with flavors that represent our particular pocket of the central CA coast in its purest form. To honor this partnership and her passion, she is offering jars of 22-month aged amino (miso) paste made from sourdough rye bread she baked herself and began fermenting on her brother’s birthday. Flavors of caraway, salted caramel and rich umami make this product sing. Pick up at her permanent pop-up right outside her brother’s brewery, Colony Mash Brewing. $25/4 oz jar, extremely limited quantities.
